Charlie Waite likes the “Ethereal Tor” photograph

Glastonbury Ethereal Tor

This Image was taken back in 2013 after some pretty heavy flooding on the Somerset levels. It shows Glastonbury Tor rising out of the morning mist and reflecting in the icy floodwater. Charlie Waite, the founder and organiser of The Landscape Photographer of the Year competition, and one of the UKs best known landscape photographers, shares a little here in this video why he likes the image.  The image appeared in many newspapers and was a centre spread in the Sunday Times Magazine. I took the shot knowing that it was special. It was one of those rare occasions of right place – right time.
