Burnham on Sea Lighthouse is an iconic building that stands on nine legs. It rises to a height of 36 feet, is of wooden construction built by Joseph Nelson in 1832.
Depending on the angle you view it from it can appear to have three, six, seven, or all nine legs. It is situated to the North end of Burnham sands and makes a great sillouette with the setting sun in the West.
