Glastonbury is a place steeped with Legend.
Up from the Somerset Levels rises the world famous Tor with St Michaels Tower atop. Often you can climb to the top through the mist and clouds and have a breathtaking view of what seems like an island in the clouds. It’s not hard to see why the place attracts the magic and mystical.
Sadly the history of the Tor like so many other religious sites is quite gruesome. Today there’s a clear view over to the Festival site at Worthy Farm where people peacefully gather in their hundreds of thousands most summers.
