I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve been to the Lighthouse in Burnham for a photoshoot. Living just down the road in Berrow helped as I could head on out if the light was looking promising.

Burnham on Sea Lighthouse is an iconic building that stands on nine legs. It rises to a height of 36 feet,  and is of wooden construction built by Joseph Nelson in 1832.

Depending on the angle you view it from it can appear to have three, six, seven, or all nine legs. It is situated to the North end of Burnham sands and makes a great sillouette with the setting sun in the West.
