Brent Knoll rises out of the Somerset Levels to a height of 450 ft above sea level. It looks out west over the Bristol Channel beyond the town of Burnham on Sea. Brean Down is visible to the North West and if you follow round clockwise you see the whole length of the Mendip Hills with Cheddar Gorge breaking through. Then further clockwise is the city of Wells and out across the Levels we see Glastonbury Tor. Continuing round we see the Polden Hills and beyond to the Quantocks and Exmoor before arriving back to the Bristol Channel.
